Tomatin Distillery was founded in 1897 in the village of Tomatin in the Scottish Highlands, sitting at over 1,000 feet above sea level in the Monadhliath Mountains. Cu Bocan is Tomatin's lightly peated expression, and Creation #6 finishes that spirit in a combination of Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and Jamaican rum casks, layering extraordinary sweetness, tropical fruit, and dark spice over the smoky Highland base. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.
Tasting Notes
The nose is rich and inviting, with rum and raisin, dark treacle, Jamaican ginger cake, and a waft of gentle bonfire smoke.
