Wolfburn Distillery was established in 2013 in Thurso, Caithness, on the site of the original Wolfburn Distillery that operated in the 1820s, making it Scotland's northernmost mainland distillery. Small Batch No. 458 is a marriage of two distinct parcels: 7-year-old spirit matured in first-fill Pedro Ximenez sherry butts, and lightly peated spirit matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, combined in equal measure. Tasting Notes
